I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately, I started to realize how hard it is to sustain a blog and I don't want to do you all a disservice. I may not post every week, but I will post as often as I can and as the Lord prompts me to. With all that being said, let me update you on my life.

I have been working at my church as the Office Manager since April of this year. It's been a great experience, and it has definitely brought me closer to God. I am learning so much from my pastors and the circle of friends (pastors from neighboring churches), I even talked with my Senior Pastor about maybe becoming a pastor one day. This would make the second conversation I've had about this topic this year, so I'm taking this as confirmation from God that I'm on the right path. God really speaks to you in so many different ways. He can speak to you through people, through His Word, through music, and through nature (His creation). He has been speaking to me. He's been telling me "You can't stop blogging because you're tired, there are people that need to hear what I have to say through you". It's wild guys. That just came to me. God is so good and He is alive.

I've been studying my Bible lately too. I started reading first in Colossians chapter 3, and it was like God finally opened my eyes to His Word. The verses that stuck out to me the most were verses 1-4. They stuck out so much that I read three different translations to get a full understanding of them. I like the New Living Translation the most, the scripture says:

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

When I read that, my whole perspective was changed and my life took on a whole new meaning. I just started realizing how much my life has changed and will continue to change because I have the Holy Spirit dwelling within me. I have never felt so much peace in all my life, it truly is the peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7 says "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." That kind of peace cannot be bought, that kind of peace is only found in Jesus Christ. And I want you to know that you can experience the peace of God for yourself. If you want to be set free from your life of sin, depression, anxiety, and all the things this wicked world gives you, I invite you to pray this prayer.

Jesus, I am sorry for the thing's I've done that kept me from you. I am sorry for denying you, and want to turn away from my life of sin. Lord I know you died for my sins, that you rose from the dead, and that you are the Son of God. Please forgive me and help me to forgive those that hurt me. I want to receive you as my Lord and Savior. Please clean me up from the inside out because I can't do this on my own. Please Jesus, save me from myself and the gates of Hell. Please renew me, and make me clean. Holy Spirit, please dwell inside me, and fill me with your presence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Once you say this prayer, please feed your soul with the Word of God. You have to do your part and remain in constant communication and study with God. He will free you, and it's your job to stay away from the things that kept you separated from God in the first place. Scripture says "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 (NLT). God gives us all this gift of eternal life, no one is excluded, but few people accept the offer.

Sorry this post is all over the place, I just wanted to share what God has put on my heart.

God has truly done some amazing things in my life. I was homeless and hopeless, God brought me out of the dumps and into His glory. The best part is He can do it for you too.

I'm just a girl who loves God.
