Being Redeemed and Released

Hi everyone, I'm Dimisha. I live in a small town in Western Pennsylvania. I have two children (boys), ages 2 and 13. I have been married for about 5 years now, and let me tell you, marriage is hard. It can be more challenging when only one of you is truly following Jesus. I am currently in therapy for PTSD, anxiety, and depression; but God has been doing a mighty work in me that has opened my eyes to so many new levels of me that have been holding me back. I started this blog to share with people who might have some misconceptions about God and the kind of God he is.

My Bella. She stuck by my side when I was drinking myself into oblivion. I thank God for her most of all.

My God is Awesome.

My God is loving and forgiving, He is compassionate and wants an intimate relationship with each and every one of us. I was a sinner, like big time. I stole from my grandmother to buy weed; I used to cheat on all my boyfriends before I got married, and I went on a year long alcohol bender after I was married. So, trust me when I say, there is no one that God won't redeem. If you've done worse, I invite you to learn more about God and His love for you. Just because you have made mistakes in the past, or are still making mistakes, that doesn't mean God has abandoned you. He is waiting for you. And here, we will talk about that.

In Closing.

I'm not perfect, but Jesus is. And His perfect love can redeem ANYONE! If He transformed an ex-stripper/drug addict like me, He can transform you too! Are you ready for that? Well, I invite you to stay tuned. God has something He wants you to know.
